In our local cultures, boys are often celebrated as blessings, while girls can be tragically reduced to commodities for early marriage.  They face discrimination and abuse simply because of their gender.  Those precious girls who dare to dream are often forced to drop out of school due to gender-based barriers, child abuse, and a heartbreaking lack of support.

Therefore, we felt called to intervene by advocating for the God-given rights of all children. We actively fight against early marriages and provide education support, essential sanitary products, and spiritual mentorship to these precious girls, so that they can thrive as their brothers do and break free from cultural bondage, understanding their immense value in Christ.  We also train their teachers and guardians on menstrual hygiene management, which has helped create a supportive environment for girls to overcome stigma and feel comfortable while at school.

These efforts have led to better academic performance, improved self-esteem, increased involvement in church activities, and a reduction in child marriages – all signs of God’s grace at work.
